The CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Certification, through Phoenix TS, is a vendor-neutral credential. The CASP exam is an internationally targeted validation of advanced-level security skills and knowledge. Although there is not a required prerequisite, the CASP certification is meant to follow CompTIA Security+ or equal experience and has a hands-on, technical focus at the enterprise level.
This program is aimed towards an IT professional that has the technical skills and knowledge required to design, conceptualize, and engineer secure solutions across complex enterprise environments. Students working towards a CASP certification should have a minimum of 10 years experience, including five years of technical security experience.
